Encrypt Files is a file encryption and decryption tool. It allows you to encrypt your files so that no one can look at them. For that it employs one of more than ten available encryption algorithms. It supports Blowfish, Misty 1, RC2, RC4, etc. All of those support extra layers of security to your files.
To encrypt a file, you need to find it using the built-in file explorer. This explorer does not offer shortcuts to the desktop or your "my documents" folder, so you have to browse to that folder manually. Also there isn't a drop zone for encrypting files, which has become a very popular way to do this. When you find the file that you want to encrypt, all you have to do is select the encryption algorithm that you want to use and set a password. By default, Encrypt Files will delete the original file that was encrypted, so that there aren't any unsecure copies of your files left. But you can change this behavior quite simply.
Decrypting files is just as easy. The only difference is that you have to know the password of the encrypted file.
All in all, Encrypt Files does seem to encrypt files quite well. It has a variety of available encryption algorithms and it is fairly quick.
